CROCHET PETER PAN for 9″ boy doll

MATERIALS: Knit Cro Sheen, #2 (C) hook OR ANY THREAD OR
YARN & HOOK which will give gauge of 7 sc per inch

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS: All rows end with “ch l & turn”
All rows are work in single crochets. INC means work
“2 sts in next st”

Beginning at top, ch 13, sc in 2nd ch from hook &
in each ch across; 12 sts.

Row 1: INC in first 4 sts, 2 sc, INC in next 4 sts,
1 sc; 20 sts.

Row 2: 1 sc, *2 INC,2 sc,2 INC*,4 sc, rpt from* to*
once, 2 sc; 28 sts0

Row 3: 2 sc, *2 INC, 4 sc, 2 INC*, 6 sc, rpt from*
to* once, 3 sc; 36 sts0

Row 4: 3 sc, *2 INC, 6 sc, 2 INC*, 8 sc, rpt from*
to* once, 4 sc; 44 sts.

Row 5: 4 sc, *2 INC, 8 sc, 2 INC*, 10 sc, rpt from*
to* once, 5 sc; 52 sts.

Row 6: 5 sc, *2 INC, (ch 3, 1 sc) 10 times,2 INC*,
12 sc.rpt from* to* once, 6 sc; 60 sc sts.

Row 7: 7 sc,skip 14, 16 sc, skip 14, 8 sc; 32 sts.

Work 10 sc rows, DECREASING 1 st under each armhole
on 4th & 8th rows.

Next Row: Sc across, INCREASING 5 sts evenly .Work 2
more sc rows, then sc up front edge, around neck &
down other front (work 3 sc in each corner st) and
along bottom edge, work (ch 3, 1 sc)in all sts.
Break thread, Sew on snaps & make belt of 6* chain,


Beginning at waist, ch 25, sc in 2nd ch from hook &
in each ch across; 24 sts. Work 1 sc row

Row 2: Sc across, INCREASING 6 sts evenly spaced.

Rows 3,4 & 5: Sc on 30 sts without increasing.
(Remember the ch 1 at end of each row is the first
st on the next row & counts in the TOTAL sts.)

Rows 6, 7 & 8: Sc, INCREASING 1 st at each end; 2
sts increased each row; 36 sts on row now.

Divide & work half for each leg now as follows:

LEG: Work first 18 sts in sc for 32 rows.DECREASING
1 st each side every 8th row 4 times; 10 sts on row.
Break thread, leaving 36″ to work foot later. Fold
piece & wind thread around it to keep it out of your

OTHER LEG: Work as for first leg.

When finished sew leg seams to ankle, sew back seam
for 1/2″.Crochet around back opening for overlap & sew
snaps on.

Going back to FOOT: Try on tights to be sure they
are right length(work more rows or take some off if
necessary). Be sure where center front is, then put
thread on needle & run through bottom edge to center
front of ankle which is top of foot

FOOT: Ch 6, sc in 2nd ch from hook & in next 4 ch.
Sc around 10 ankle sts & up other side of ch with 5
sc sts there, ch 1, turnc Work 2 more rows around
these sts & break thread. Sew bottom of foot & toe
end & make toe end more “pointy” if you likec



DEC means you put your hook through each of 3 sc sts
then you pull thread through all loops at once and
you will have only 1 st where you had 3»

Ch 30, sc in 2nd ch from hook & in each ch across,
ch 1 & turn; 29 sts.

Work 3 rows of sc

Row 4: 12 sc, DEC, 13 sc; 27 sts

Row 5: 11 sc, DEC, 12 sc; 25 sts.

Row 6: 10 sc, DEC, 11 sc; 23 sts

Continue in this manner till 11 sts left on row.
(Remember that the “ch 1” at end of previous row is
the first st of next row.That is why you have one
less number at beginning of row than at end.You
already have 1 st to start with in the “ch 1”. )

When you have 11 sts left, break thread, sew top
seam & back seam.

FEATHER: Ch about 15, sc in first 4 chains, dc to
end,3 dc in end, dc down other side, sc in last 4,
Break thread,use fine wire to stiffen if necessary,
