Knit Ridge Pillows

Gaily striped pillow covers are fun projects for the beginning knitter. Straight-knit pieces are sewn to shape over foam rubber pillow forms – knit in ridges give sunburst or “pleated” effect when gathered along edges. Trim with twisted cord, pompons, or covered buttons.
