Bind front and upper edge of Bunting with wide ribbon, mitering corners.
Sew bottom to lower edge. Sew in zipper, leaving 10 1/2 inches free at top.
Cut 2 pieces of narrow ribbon, 14 inches long, for ties and sew to each
side of front edge 2 inches above zipper. Sew up top seam of hood. Bind front of hood with wide ribbon.

Cut a 52-inch piece of narrow ribbon and draw through beading.
Note from Grandmother - this is an old pattern. Drawstring ribbons are no longer used on baby garments for obvious safety reasons. To avoid strangling hazards, please be sure to use an alternate method of closing the hood – velcro or snaps both work nicely. You can also attach ribbon ties to both sides of the front of the hood without drawing them through the beading. Keep the baby that you love, Safe!

With a crochet hook make a row of sc along free edges of hood. Sew lower edge of hood to inside of back of bunting 7 1/2 inches from top.
